Connectathon Registration

System Registration:  Opens Aug 16, 2010 and closes Oct 8, 2010

In order to participate in the IHE NA Connectathon 2011, your company is required to register the systems you will test using the following steps:

  1. Create an account and register systems on the IHE NA Gazelle tool (not the instance used in Europe).
  2. Use the Gazelle tool to print out a contract that includes payment details.
  3. Sign the contract and mail the contract with payment as described on the contract.
  4. Signed contract with payment is due by Oct 15, 2010.

After registration closes, you will not be able to add systems, or add actors or profiles to systems. You will be allowed to remove systems, actors or profiles. However, there are no refunds.

Payment Guidance:
Payment of registration fees will be accepted starting September 27. Payment and signed applications must be submitted by October 15, 2010. Detailed payment instructions will be posted here and sent to the Connectathon email distribution list (see below) by September 27, 2010. IHE USA will accept payment by check and wire transfer only. Participant Staff Registration: Deadline TBA

Each system registered will be allocated one table and two chairs for up to two staff members. Extra participants can be registered for the event at the cost of $50/day, but seating may not be adjacent to your equipment table. Each person attending the connectathon to participate in testing must register using the Gazelle tool. View the session on Participant Registration for details.

Connectathon Webinars

A series of webinars is held starting in June, through fall 2010. There are topics of interest for product managers considering Connectathon participation for their company, for technical people doing IHE implmentations in products, and for Connectathon veterans wondering what's new this year. The Connectathon Managers (Moore, Felhofer) maintain a resource page for Connectathon participants.  If you plan to participate in the North American Connectathon, you should bookmark the page and come back often.

GazelleTesting Management Tool:
Gazelle: use this system to register systems and people for the Connectathon, submit pre-Connectathon test results and manage the Connectathon testing process.

You may do that if you wish, but most people will subscribe by entering their corporate email address or other email that they read on a regular basis.

All participants (or appropriate proxy within the organization) must subscribe to this email list to receive announcements concerning the Connectathon. Please subscribe by the close of Connectathon registration on Oct 8, 2010. When you subscribe, please check the archive for previous messages.
