IHE North America Connectathon 2009

The 10th Annual IHE North America Connectathon will be held February 23-27, 2009 at the Hyatt Regency Chicago, 151 Wacker Drive, Chicago, IL. The following general dates have been established for the testing process:

• June 10, 2008: Connectathon Webinars Begin
  
• Aug. 26: Opening of Registration for Connectathon Participants
• Sept. 30: Deadline for Connectathon Registration
• Oct.: Workshop for HIMSS Interoperability Showcase Participants
• Feb. 23-27, 2009: IHE North America Connectathon (Hyatt Regency - Chicago)

The Connectathon is the healthcare IT industries largest interoperability testing event. The full range of integration profiles defined in the IHE Technical Frameworks will be available for testing. The Connectathon is required preparation for the HIMSS Interoperability Showcase and demonstrations at the RSNA Annual Meeting.

Webinar Series

This year IHE North America will offer a free series of Webex sessions for prospective participants in the 2009 Connectathon. Sessions will focus on the information needed by new and returning Connectathon participants in order to prepare for the event.
